STRAUSS workwear often consists largely of synthetic materials such as polyester or polyamide, as these meet key requirements of everyday working life particularly well: they are hard-wearing, versatile and help to ensure that our products are robust, functional and durable. A long service life is a particularly important aspect of workwear, because the longer a garment remains in use, the less often it needs to be replaced.
At the same time, we frequently use natural materials as well: around 40 per cent of the materials used in our clothing range consist of cotton or wool. Our aim is to strike the best possible balance between functionality, comfort, durability, and the conservation of resources.
